🖐️ IR Touch Frame Technology for Seamless Interactivity
Interactive Flat Panel Displays (IFPDs) featuring infrared (IR) touch technology have rapidly become a preferred choice across education and business environments.
Compared to traditional smart projector boards, which were once widely used in classrooms, IFPDs offer superior convenience, performance, and reliability. There’s no need for time-consuming image calibration before every session — IFPDs are always ready to go.
Thanks to advanced LED display technology, these panels deliver ultra-clear visuals, consistent brightness, and high resolution from any angle. The IR touch frame supports intuitive interaction, allowing you to write, draw, or annotate using almost anything — from a dry or wet finger to a stylus or pen.
Whether you’re presenting in a meeting room or teaching in a classroom, IR touch-enabled IFPDs ensure a natural, responsive, and efficient digital experience.

IR (Infrared) Touch Frames offer a cost-effective and easy-to-integrate solution for transforming virtually any passive monitor into a fully interactive touchscreen.
With a highly adaptable design, IR touch overlays are available in a wide range of sizes — from 32″ to 500″ diagonals, making them ideal for everything from single-user touch displays to large-scale modular interactive video walls.
Compatible with most professional-grade displays, the IR Touch Frame is a robust, future-proof, and economical solution for a variety of interactive applications including education, retail, corporate, control rooms, exhibitions, and more.
Whether you’re upgrading a standard display or building a custom interactive system, IR touch overlays offer maximum flexibility with minimal installation effort.
✋ How IR Touch Frame Technology Works
An IR (Infrared) Touch Frame is an electronic device designed to detect and locate touch gestures using a dense matrix of infrared light beams arranged along the X and Y axes.
The system works by installing a circuit board frame around the front edges of a display. This frame is equipped with infrared transmitters and receivers on all four sides. Together, they form an invisible grid — a cross-patterned infrared matrix — that spans the entire screen area.
📌 Touch Detection Mechanism: When a user touches the screen, their finger (or any opaque object) interrupts the horizontal and vertical infrared beams at the point of contact. The system identifies the exact X-Y coordinates where the light was blocked, thereby registering the touch input.
✅ Unlike other technologies, IR touch does not rely on pressure or capacitance. It works with almost any non-transparent object — whether it’s a dry or wet finger, gloved hand, pen, or stylus — making it highly versatile and user-friendly.
This makes IR touch frames ideal for a wide range of applications, from education and corporate settings to industrial, gaming, and public display environments.
